A lot of brokers have a general understanding of their contracts, but don’t know them intimately.
Know yours inside-out before making any move AND ESPECIALLY BEFORE signing a new agreement if your brokerage has been sold to a consolidator.
AND IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN AGREEMENT, there are clear rules about who owns the book of business and the clients, regardless of what the owner may have told you verbally.
If you are unsure about exactly what you own, or would like to have your contract reviewed just in case, let’s talk.
I won’t give you legal advice, but I will give you my opinion on the details of your agreement.
And we're just getting started.
